The research question of this paper is « Which change management actions contribute to a succesful integration of an ERP-system?», which this research aims to answer during this literatute research. Enterprise resource planning-systems (ERP) are highly complex information systems, which consist of different sub-systems, e.g. CRM (Customer Relations Management), warehouse management and HR management (Human Resources). These kind of big system complexes offer one united information system to businesses, which help the business ob-tain more accurate and real time information to help their decision making and operational actions. Integration projects of ERP-systems require precision, scope management and expertise to succeed. During these projects unexpected problems arise because a successful integration doesn’t depend only on the used technology, but also requires re-engineering of business processes to fit the new ERP-system and education of staff to succeed. Integration projects are infamous of being late or failing. Information systems are socio-technical com-plexes which require a technical component, the system, and a human to func-tion. The obtainment of all the benefits from ERP-system use requires right use of the system by the staff. Because the integration of an ERP-system is a big change to the business and staff, the management of people is in a vital role. Change management aims to lead people through the up’s and down’s that change brings with it.
