In this thesis we explore different cybersecurity threats and challenges of IoTbased smart homes from the perspective of individual’s privacy. IoT-based smart home is a system which uses a group of different IoT devices to perform its functions. However, the number of multiple heterogeneous devices poses security threats which in your own home are especially important concerning privacy. This thesis aims to identify these threats and challenges and to explore possible solutions to them.
